One of our library staff members, Sue is currently obtaining her Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training.
When Sue completes this course, we will be able to provide better training for our staff allowing for our knowledge and skills to be acknowledge under industry standards.
This training will potentially allow us to use Sue as a trainer when our new library is built, extending services to the general public. We envisage Sue will be able to take all the information she learns to create a positive and safe environment for everyone.

The Certificate IV course Sue is undertaking would be the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, which has superceeded the BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training. The TAA40104 qualification has a lot more rigor and depth to it than the BSZ40198 qualification and consequently I believe Sue will be a far better trainer as a result.
